"My son was riding his e-bike when he lost his balance and his foot caught between the bike path and the road. He went down pretty hard, probably at about 18 mph. Luckily, he was wearing his helmet, and he said if he hadn't had it on, he could have been seriously injured, maybe even brain dead.
