I recently had a crash while riding my Ebike. I am so thankful that I bought a helmet that actually was rated for Ebikes. Long story that is pending legal action, so I will just say that I went airborne and headfirst into a traffic lane. I was very fortunate that there were not vehicles approaching. I have significant "road rash" and a leg injury. ER doctors and staff said things would have been much different if it were not wearing this helmet. I still have mobility issues and it will be a while before I get on my bike, but Xnito has already replaced my helmet. I highly recommend this company and their product!
While riding an ebike, I had a violent pre-dawn crash with a feral hog in Hawaii. I have the video from a Cycliq bike camera to prove it. I impacted the asphalt landing on my head, left shoulder & left hip receiving a concussion with memory loss, 10 ribs broken left side, 1 rib broken right side (11 total), broken left scapula, cracked sternum, hemothorax, pneumothorax, Morel-Lavallee lesion of left hip. I remember going for an early morning bike ride, then becoming vaguely aware that I was in a trauma ward 3 days later. The emergency room doctor told my wife that the helmet saved my life.
